About

I don't photograph places.
I photograph the silence,
the light and the passing of time
that live within them.

I am drawn to waiting, atmosphere and those quiet moments that often remain unseen. The moments before the scene begins and long after it has ended.

For me, photography has never been about documenting a place. It has always been about preserving the feeling of having been there.

I'm Fabrizio Vinciguerra, a Sicilian photographer born in 1983.

Through photography I try to explore the relationship between light, memory and landscape.

Forests, waterfalls, volcanic lands and distant places become the starting point for a simpler and more difficult search at the same time: transforming a space into an emotion and a moment into a memory.
